Overdue git push, still no alpha yet #TrainsInMotion #Traincraft (1.7.10 rewrite)
Finally got to the point of feeling comfortable with the progress to push the changes to git. Only took 3 days.
The alpha should be soon, I need to test some more things, finish the GUI stuff, and go over the train movement code.
I keep wanting to say it's right around the corner, and major bugs keep appearing, but at this point I'm pretty much out of places for them to pop-up from.
So maybe it's safe to say I can release the alpha in time for the weekend? I hope? Please?
- Reworked the VAT Log Car. Now it will support the new system for rendering blocks.
- Blocks can now be rendered for rollingstock based on scale and position in the model file. They are also grouped so multiple can be rendered at once to represent the same full-ness of the inventory.
- Bogie movement has been reworked, should be more reliable now.
- Train acceleration has been reworked a bit, probably doesn't work just yet.
- Rollingstock pushing now works, and better than before.
- Small fixes to the GUI.
- TMT Change: added some values to the models to define their scale, this was necessary to get the block scaling.
- Reworked the Key Press packet a bit, it's more efficient and reliable now. It also now works for rollingstock.
- Fixed a GUI cast in the client and common proxy that caused a crash.
- Expanded the Container Handler to cover inventory slots for rollingstock, still needs work on positioning.
- Hitbox handler has been fully reworked, it should be more reliable now. Could use some simplifying later however.
In other news I'm working on the side with ApocTheWanderer for a few new games. TiM and TC are still top priority, but after the alpha is out I should have some more opportunity to work on other projects.
